Stroke: Live-in Care

What is stroke care?

Suffering a stroke can have a serious impact on an older person's mobility, verbal communication, hearing or eyesight. That is why we firmly believe that the best place for them to receive the care they need is in their own home, where they feel safe and comfortable.

Our live-in carers can help with day-to-day tasks like shopping, cooking, cleaning, dressing and going to the bathroom. Our aim is to help our client keep their independence whilst receiving quality live-in care. An Elite carer is trained in all aspects of post-stroke care and can help with rehabilitation while removing the pressure from family members who may not have the knowledge and skills required to provide support.

Costs for stroke live-in care and funding

The cost of stroke live-in care is very much dependent on individual needs and circumstances. Live-in care for couples costs only a fraction more than 24-hour care for one person, and there are a number of funding options available to assist with covering the costs.

Please call us today on 0330 1330 235 to find out how we can support you and to receive a personalised quotation. You can also request a call-back.

I have been a client since January 2020. All I can say is the carers, office staff and management are exceptional. The carers are lovely and they are always understanding. The office staff are always polite over the phone, and if I have any issues, they sort it out for me. The management are amazing, they always call in to check on me. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone that needs care.
